On 13 December 2007 I posted a review of Ben Anthony’s Channel 4 documentary of the End of the World Cult, featuring Michael Travesser (Wayne Bent) and some of his followers in Strong City, New Mexico. After thousands of hits, and over 300 comments (including some from Michael himself and many from his followers) I decided to rein in the ‘discussion’ on the original posting. However, I have now be sent a link to the documentary on Google. This, together with comments from the cult members on the original posting should show you what the controversy was about and what their world view is (though the cult members, of course, would vehemently dispute that).

I thought I’d share with you and the world that I was posting on the strongcity sight and Wayne didn’t like what I’d said about false prophets and I was blocked from any further postings.
I feel Jeff and Wayne were afraid it made sense and didn’t want any of the followers reading my last two posts. It may have caused questions to arise in the minds of the followers.
With that said - I’m over it! These people are so brainwashed. It makes me think of the old days of Rev. Moon and the Moonies……where parents were having their kids kidnapped from the cult and having them de-programmed. So they could think for themselves again.

This video is God’s gift to the world because they recieve not a love of the truth. This is His strong dilusion he has sent so you would believe a lie. If you were open to listen to God’s voice you would hear the truth of Michael in it.
I was one of the founders of this religious offshoot movement that developed into the LOR cult we see today. Four of the five leaders left in 1989, leaving Wayne Bent to continue on as the sole leader. I haven’t had contact with Wayne for the past 19 years. I decided to write him the other day. He did not post our correspondence on his site; therefore I am using another site to post these few letters. I believe it goes to the heart of the problem and identifies where Wayne veered off track. To me it is a strange experience.
I know Strongcity for 7 years now, and have always enjoyed Michael’s writings very much. He has a lot of knowledge on the Bible, and the woman that live there are very very beautiful. Every one there is there out of free choice, Michael does no one wrong, and as far as I have understood, he did not have sex with any under aged person. This is however accepted in many cultures, often woman get married at the age of 12, I think even that great part of the woman in western societies are not a virgin any more, once they reach the age of 16.
I see nothing wrong there. What is the problem with this world? I am browsing the web, and see hundreds of people talking about some dangerous cult, that does not even exist. Just a bunch of friends go live the way they want, while in every country there is sex slavery, chaotic morality, lies running within the governments, and a terrible war in Iraq, that was based on lies also.
What Michael wrote about the war in Iraq, is very a normal search for the truth, that has been hidden by the very very evil forces in the governments, that every citizen should have to battle. Michael is doing this, a sane man would understand he is on the same side.
What is wrong with you people? I mean, people that believe the lies made by the BBC, also believe the lies made by Tony Blair? O, to me it is not personal, contrary, I find Tony Blair a nice person. He became a Roman Catholic after he had done the job of deceiving very openly, and by that made the connection between the Roman Catholic Church and the War in Iraq very clear to this Planet.

From dutch Roman Catholics, I would find out, that the Church is trying to make all people in British parliament Roman Catholic. What’s new. No news from Europe. The most dangerous cult on Planet Earth, the Roman Catholic Church, is controlling British politics. Normal.
Strongcity is not a Cult. It is a Community. This was made clear before and after these accusations by Michael many times. Also, people like me, that believe Michael Travesser, are not “followers”. To me it is just an intellectual revelation of things, and thanks to Michael’s writings, I have been studying other Reformers like John Calvin, William Tindale, John Huss, Peter Waldens, Oliver Cromwell, Admiral Lumey, and many more. If these Protestant intellectuals would not have existed, we would all have been Roman Catholics, and the Bible would not have existed. Than we really would have been slaves.
At first I though, these attackers of Michael must be the Roman Catholic Church. I still think so, I just passed a page where Ben Anthony, the BBC propagandist, was part of the Counter Reformation lies about Humanism. Real humanism was created by reformers like Erasmus. Erasmus from Rotterdam was a Bible translator, that made a dictionary for translating the Bible from Greek to common language. So Humanism was based on the understanding one can get from study from the Bible. But today, Humanism is an atheist nonsense system, made by atheists within the Jesuit order. I know this from a Belgian Jesuit, that would write a book about it.
In the 16th century, it was clear that attacks, like the ones on Michael Travesser, where ordained by the Vatican. But as I look into the people that attack this community, there are woman attacking also. Woman can not become clegy, so more must be happening here.

Although you are a Roman Catholic, I suspect a clergy man yourself, this attention is revealing much about this world. Your lies are clear to me, but people that use a Bible, know that they must love their enemies. Very difficult, but my efforts may succeed. Thinking Man is complicid in abducting three children now, by bashing and lying about people that have never harmed him, contrary, gave hundreds of hits and comments.
