Jesus Is The Weigh

If you want to slim for Him, there are now plenty of programs, books, and DVDs to help you. Christian diets are now part of a multi-million dollar industry. Many are claiming that faith is providing the ingredients missing from traditional diet programs that tend to be universally discredited as inevitably failing and even [...]

I confess I have never been to Oxford, and have no personal interest in the city. However, I find myself writing about it for the fourth time in the past few months. It certainly seems to be hitting the news recently (see here and here and here).
The latest row has been caused by [...]

Jesus Stolen From Christmas

According to reports on newsnet5, thieves in Ohio stole a baby Jesus from a Christmas display in a resident’s front yard.

Coming Out

The summer period marks an important anniversary for me. I used to be an evangelical Christian, and in the summer of 1966, I got ’saved’. I literally came out - I got up out of my seat in front of family and friends at a Billy Graham rally at the age of 13, and [...]

In the early part of the sixteenth century, a man called Felix Manz was executed in Switzerland. He was a sincere Christian, and his only crime was that he held different views about baptism from those held by the sincere Christians in the local ruling authority. They chose drowning as a method of execution.
Aha, you [...]
